I downloaded GTA V from Epic Games for free and have been playing smoothly until recently. One day it froze completely, the alt=TAB button made the game go black, then it vanished after a short time without any crash logs. This only happens during long online sessions while completing missions—not in single-player or free-roam mode. It’s not too severe, but someone please help!
The issue often starts with a black screen indicating the GPU has given up. Alternatively, it might stem from RAM failure, causing the system to shut down because memory is depleted, leading to the display of the OS attempting to terminate the application.
My PC is working properly, the game just required verification. Thank you for your reply.
