Game issues in Call of Duty Warzone Freeze and crashes reported across platforms
I’m not sure if this is the right place to share this, but I’m running out of ideas about how to fix it. Since I began playing Warzone on PC, I usually manage to play only about 30 minutes before the game freezes and crashes. The game doesn’t close on its own, so I have to open Task Manager to force it to stop. Right after it crashes, I hear the notification sound, but there’s no message or pop-up displayed. I visited the support site to ask for help, but I ended up in a cycle of suggestions that I’ve already tried. This problem doesn’t occur with other games or during stress tests. I don’t think it’s related to temperature or power consumption. Here’s what I’ve attempted so far:
- Updated BIOS (previously caused a reboot if the game started)
- Used various Nvidia drivers (472.12, 512.15, 512.77, 512.95, 522.25)
- Ensured all other drivers are current
- Kept Windows updated
- Reduced in-game graphics to the minimum settings
- Changed to DX11 mode
- Disabled fullscreen optimizations for Warzone
- Turned off Discord, Nvidia, and other overlays
I still can’t figure out a solution and it’s affecting my ability to play with friends. If anyone has any advice, I’d really appreciate it.
