I saved BF4 on Origin and began using multiplayer... I was seeing 60+ frames, though it felt slightly unstable... this issue seems specific to BF4.

BF4 demands a lot from the processor, and with 4 gigabytes of RAM it’s still not enough for smooth performance.

BF4 stands out as a title that challenges players significantly with its CPU demands.

The CPU runs smoothly even at the lowest configurations.

I'd look into whether other processes are using the CPU. It's possible the CPU isn't fully active and the issue lies elsewhere. Do you know how to check this with WTD? You'll also understand the extent of the problem. Certain settings, like high-frequency updates, can demand more CPU power. Also, player count (from BF3) affects this, and BF4 generally uses less CPU than BF3 for me.

Your overall setup is quite basic, but i3 and 750 Ti models can still perform well given their cost. The limited RAM is also affecting your experience; consider reducing graphics settings or upgrading your system. Removing AA and AF entirely could help boost your frame rate.

CPU is capable, but insufficient RAM will affect frame consistency. Suggest adding another 4GB.

I believe it might be related to the RAM, even though my system isn’t top-of-the-line. I’ve seen many videos showing people with similar specs playing Battlefield 3 and other games without issues. It doesn’t happen to me when I play Battlefield 4 or any other title. Even at low settings, I still can’t pinpoint the problem.

He has an older i3 model compared to mine, yet he boasts 8GB of RAM. Probably the memory is the reason. It doesn’t seem like the problem is with the processor or graphics card.

BF3 runs fine on a 4GB system. I used it for two years with that kind of memory.
