I'm sorry I missed the original tests. Here are my scores: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/54373799
Good morning guys, last night I sat down with the guy who built my computer and asked him something over the phone. He told me that Open Hardware Monitor showed my CPU speed was around 2800MHz, which is way too slow for what it should be. So we went into the BIOS and changed those numbers to fit where they needed to go, maybe up to 4500MHz. That made me feel good because I then loaded a game back up and got about 180 frames per second instead of less. We also tweaked some settings on the games and used MSI Afterburner to add an overclock for the graphics card. Now in certain parts of the map, I'm getting over 200 FPS, sometimes even nearly 220! I even hit a score of 21 kills in Warzone with these new settings. I think this is going to make a real difference for you too if you love that game. It looks like we're back on track and making the PC master race shine again. Thanks everyone for the help and ideas, and I'll definitely come back here if I run into any other problems later. I'm planning to do a user benchmark soon when I'm home to see what changed from the old version. Thanks again, Jake.
I asked about cpu cooling because in your link's report, the turbo speed stayed at 2800MHz instead of going higher. That made me think something was wrong with your CPU. Anyway, after you took off power limits, make sure you have enough air to keep your computer safe.
