I was looking for a laptop to play medium or low intensity games while I am away from home and ended up buying one. I found an LG gram ultra slim that was very cheap and had really good specs, probably about two-thirds of what my high-end desktop has. The specs look great on paper but when I play games like League of legends and Smite, my FPS drops from 40 to 120. I think with these specs it should be stable at all times. My PC never goes below 100 when running a 2070 super. I factory reset the laptop when I bought it and changed some settings like turning best performance in battery mode on and updating the GPU drivers. With specs like that, is it unreasonable for my FPS to drop into the 30s during activity?
This link is for the laptop I really bought. It doesn't look very cool because you seem confused yourself. You should check the bottom of the laptop to make sure you are looking at the right model. See if your laptop needs a BIOS update. You could also try checking if the computer's operating system needs an update. Once you have made sure both the BIOS and OS are current, use DDU, then manually reinstall your graphics card driver from Nvidia's official website in a special window called "Run as Administrator."
I fixed everything before that, then a few more things, and it is working fine now. Intel installed an update program and LGs got updated around 12 different drivers, so it seems to be working right now.
