Model: Intel Celeron G3900 2C/2T at 2.8 GHz (overclocked to 4.2 with 150 base OC). Features: GT 730, 12 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD, MSI Z170A Sli Plus. Includes all the newest drivers. People often mention overclocking or specs, but I think it's connected to my internet. I'm in India and use JioFiber, which doesn't provide a static IP but offers dynamic IP.

Is that 4.2Ghz really boosting your performance? Have you actually measured boot and program start times? I keep my CPU under 800Mhz even when opening apps in Windows 10, and with an SSD, no one would notice. How long do programs take to load? Overclocking mainly helps with virtual machines or benchmarks—saving the state lets you restart in under 30 seconds. Consider easing the overclock, or alternatively, tweak voltage settings gradually, testing each change until you find what works. If everything ran smoothly before, the fix is clear.

It's true, gaming usually runs smoothly at 100-120 frames per second, but I limit it to 60 because that's my screen refresh rate. I don't have any knowledge about app updates or similar issues.

You've reset it to the default state but the issue persists. Try restarting the system or checking for any lingering errors.

Other aspects are also shaky, your connection might be the first to raise doubts in this case.

Do you have any thoughts on it? I just completely reset my PC just to try and understand this issue.

Consider lowering visual settings in the game. The GT 730 seems to run at around 120 FPS, but performance can drop significantly in certain areas. How many games have you tried? Have you played OpenGL titles such as Half-Life? They were released in the mid-to-late 90s, which could help eliminate GPU-related issues. Also, have you used the built-in Intel GPU connected via a video cable to the motherboard’s video output without the NVIDIA GPU plugged in? It might indicate a problem with the GPU software from NVIDIA.

First, I enjoy all low 1080p settings. Second, I haven't used the integrated Intel GPU since it wasn't available to me before (I got one from a friend for free). I used to play on it only, and it didn't even reach 50 frames per second smoothly.
