I am having a freezing problem with GTA V that happens when I drive around, whether online or singleplayer. My PC has an 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM running at 3200MHz on a 5600x processor paired with a 3070 GPU (with stock CPU and undervolting). The game uses the hardware at only 40% to 30% usage, which seems odd. I also experience stuttering in Fortnite despite playing it very rarely; usually I get around 140 fps on max settings but keep getting stutters even when switching to medium settings where I average 300-400 fps. Battlefield V runs fine at Ultra settings with no stutter on DX11, and Valorant is smooth at 400-500 FPS without any lag. Modern Warfare 2019 also performs well in Medium mode with no issues. However, GTA V freezes the moment these stutters happen because the GPU and CPU usage drop to zero percent while I'm playing. I've already tried downgrading drivers, installing them again using DDU, reinstalling Windows completely, and updating my BIOS for RAM errors earlier—but none of those fixes worked yet. I don't know what else to try so I need help. Please let me know if you can assist.

What kind of power source do you have and how are they doing with the heat?

Yeah, my graphics card gets hot at about 56 to 60 degrees, and both the graphics card and the processor hit around 50 to 60 when I turn up the heat. My power supply is an Antec Modular Gold Pro with a 65-watt rating.

Hey, did you fix the freezing problems with your GTA 5 and RDR2 games? I'm having the exact same trouble. I'm running a 5600 processor and an RTX 3060 graphics card.
