Well that's one way of creating buzz, not sure how that will result in sales tho. (only being a 1 day window probably helps)

It seems the person in question received the game from Nvidia and is seeking proof of purchase. I reviewed my emails and Steam didn’t send a receipt for Batman since it wasn’t purchased. Instead, I just redeemed it. The NV email only mentions the account was redeemed to my display name, not the actual username, which doesn’t qualify as proof.

An independent creator is distributing complimentary versions of its superhero title to anyone who purchased the flawed PC release of Batman: Arkham Knight. You can obtain all three episodes of Supreme League of Patriots without paying if you bought the original PC version, even after claiming a refund. “We believe PC players are often overlooked too much,” explains developer No Bull Intentions. “Those who opt for PC play frequently face weak console versions, driver issues, lack of optimization, game-breaking flaws, intrusive DRM, and lengthy launch delays for certain games. We’re offering this to demonstrate our backing for PC gamers.” “Although we trust Rocksteady and Warner Bros. will continue updating Arkham Knight until it meets expectations, that doesn’t diminish the frustration felt by players. We acknowledge our superhero story can’t match that, but we hope The Purple Patriot’s lighthearted journey brings a smile while fans wait.” To claim the title, visit the provided link and follow the steps. Deadline is June 30. http://store.steampowered.com/app/331760/
