Hi, whenever I break out of fullscreen in GTA—such as while chatting on Skype or searching online—I get the game to crash. I've already reinstalled the game.

Certainly games often struggle with this, the most effective solution is to play in windowed mode instead of full screen, as they manage it much more smoothly.

It functioned properly for three years now. There seems to be an issue.

Checked for any recent driver or game updates. A full-screen crash could stem from a software or driver change, so it’s likely a recent update caused the issue. I usually run games in windowed full screen to avoid problems when switching apps. I should look into Windows Update and GPU driver updates, though I’m not sure if GTA has received any new patches lately.
