Here’s a rewritten version of your text, focusing on clarity and conciseness:

“I'm experiencing significant issues with Subnautica after attempting to reduce lag. Following advice from a YouTube video ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08VAOpFR-VE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08VAOpFR-VE)), I made several changes to the game’s files, but this has resulted in complete crashes and prevents me from launching the game at all. I've attempted a full uninstall and reinstall, as suggested by the video, but the problem persists. Can anyone offer suggestions for reverting these changes or resolving this issue?”

If you mean you entirely reinstalled the whole game, the only thing I can think of is that installing those modded files may have also made some changes in the game's registry files that need to be set back.
When I uninstall, especially large complex programs like games, I use an uninstall tool call Revo Uninstaller. It first uses the built-in uninstaller of the program you're uninstalling, then it follows up with registry and directory scans for leftover bits.
The best way to use an uninstaller tool is to first uninstall the program, install the uninstaller tool, then reinstall the program you're trying to uninstall. That way the uninstaller can see where the program is making registry entries.
Revo also has a "Hunter" mode though...

When you say uninstall, did you completely uninstall then reinstall the game? That's the only way to revert back if you didn't retain the 3 game files you replaced.

This is incredibly frustrating! It sounds like you've exhausted all the usual troubleshooting steps – reinstalling drivers, checking system files, running diagnostics – and it’s still happening. The fact that other games are also affected suggests a deeper issue with your hardware or potentially a conflict with some underlying system setting.

It seems like a good idea to take a step back and perhaps consult with a more experienced technician or even a specialized computer repair shop who might have the tools and expertise to dig into this further. It's possible there’s a problem with your graphics card, motherboard, or perhaps an issue with your operating system that requires deeper investigation. Don't give up – persistence is key!

I also have seen comments from other people on that video are saying these tweaks screw up amd and intel systems to the points where some apps just crash when opened.

Revo Uninstaller is a tool used to thoroughly uninstall programs, especially games. It first utilizes the program’s built-in uninstaller and then scans for leftover registry entries and directories.

To effectively use an uninstaller tool like Revo, it's best to uninstall the program first, install the uninstaller, and then reinstall the program. This allows the uninstaller to identify where the program creates registry entries.

Revo also has a “Hunter” mode that lets you manually enter the path of a program if it’s not recognized in the installed programs menu. Revo Uninstaller has a free version with a splash screen prompting for an upgrade, which can be dismissed.

Ashampoo UnInstaller 8 is another competitor with more features but lacks a free version. When using an uninstaller tool, setting it to “Back up deleted Registry items” (as found in Revo’s Tools>Options) is recommended.

If uninstalling fails, scanning for malware is advised; Malwarebytes Premium offers a free trial and then a free base version. [https://www.revouninstaller.com/products...ller-free/](https://www.revouninstaller.com/products...ller-free/)
