My computer frequently powers off during intense high-graphics games. At medium settings it runs smoothly. Before, the fans would get very loud and the screen would go dark with no signal shown. The CPU and GPU fans remain active even after I unplugged the case fans, and the LAN lights shut down. This problem started after reassembling the PC, though it worked before. After reassembly it turned on properly, but now it still shuts down. Also, the Avaris LED light changed from blue to red. Specs: CPU Ryzen 5 2600, GPU AMD HD RX 7900 Series, PSU Segotep BN650W, Mobo Asrock A320M-HDV R.4.0, case Avaris (model unknown). Note: I’m not in the states, so the PSU is a local brand.

Selecting the CPU seems smart... It could be the GPU getting too hot. Even though the case is accessible, the GPU needs good airflow to stay cool. If you don’t have a nearby electric fan, activating the front fan at the GPU intake will help things along. Try downloading FurMark, run a benchmark, and check the temperature readings.

You might be dealing with a faulty PSU or high temperatures. Monitor GPU and CPU temps under load using a benchmark, as recommended.

It doesn't seem right because I purchased the PSU new and it's been functioning well for a few months.

The GPU hit 71°C and stopped right away after a short time

I watched a video during my GPU benchmarking. I also included a tiny electric fan in the file.

The GPU is getting too hot. It looks like it needs disassembly, cleaning, and applying a new thermal paste (like Thermal Grizzly phase-changing pads or a touch of Arctic MX-6). A fan should also be running to help cool it down.

It's probably been around for about ten years now. I just re-applied the thermal paste, which seemed quite dry.

It's been a few moments and everything seems to be working fine.
