Hey, I’m feeling really upset right now. My PC keeps freezing during a League of Legends ranked match, and I can’t move anything—mouse, Alt tab, or anything else. The music still plays, but I’m stuck. Have anyone else had this issue before? Any tips to fix it? It’s been happening again lately, which makes me worried about playing ranked.

It seems the XMP profile wasn't set up correctly. You may have adjusted your RAM settings and changed options such as Power Down or Gear Down mode.

You accessed the BIOS and adjusted the RAM settings there. Your personal tweaks on the PC followed instructions from a YouTube tutorial, as I had no understanding of the process.

I find it frustrating when some YouTubers simplify things too much and push actions without thought, ignoring that hardware varies in quality. Everyone should think before following someone else’s overclock attempt—it’s unlikely to succeed. Instead, use XMP/DOCP settings and keep the rest of the BIOS at its default configuration.

It seems you likely didn’t choose the most intelligent option, but I aimed to maximize your PC’s performance.
