I have the motherboard BIOS version F24c, GPU Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity, CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7900X, 32GB RAM G.Skill Flare X5 Series, and a Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 power supply. I’m using Windows 11 and encountering problems while playing games like Hunt: Showdown or Helldivers 2. Discord voice chat is active in the background. Occasionally, Discord crashes unexpectedly. When this happens, closing the game or minimizing it causes the computer to freeze completely, needing a power cycle to recover. This occurs every few minutes during Helldivers and occasionally (every 2-4 hours) while playing Hunt: Showdown. I’ve tried updating BIOS, refreshing drivers, disabling EXPO, resetting BIOS settings, reinstalling OS or just the game, checking temperatures, re-seating components, but the issue persists. Previously, using an Intel Core i7-8700K on a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master worked without problems. Swapping to an older GTX 970 didn’t resolve the crash either.
