There seems to be an issue with your PC during gameplay. It freezes unexpectedly, sometimes causing random crashes even when temperatures look normal. The faint sounds you hear might indicate a background process or hardware anomaly. Consider checking for overheating components or unstable drivers.

I need to restart the system, as my AMD CPU and GPU require it. My PSU is capable of supporting these parts without issues.

Your system experiences significant strain during the periods you observe. I recommend inspecting your BIOS settings for any CPU or RAM overclocks, then temporarily disabling them to assess performance changes. Also, check if certain applications or games consistently affect stability.

The issue is that my CPU isn't meant to be overclocked (actually it's an X3D) and my RAM is at its maximum speed of 3600. This seems to occur in certain games without any clear pattern.

I recommend checking your BIOS for features like XMP, EOCP or DOCP. When your PC freezes, you noted audio remained audible briefly—did you also experience crashes with white noise? Reviewing Event Viewer and examining application/system logs could reveal clues about the freeze cause, such as the Parsec Virtual Driver incident you mentioned.

I didn’t notice any white noise; I looked in Event Viewer and found no errors during the crash. Parsec is installed.

It's a slim possibility, but maybe take Parsec off for a while to check if the same problem shows up again? My problem was tougher to locate and happened only a few times a month. After removing Parsec, we haven't experienced any crashes since. Maybe it's just coincidence or something else fixed it.

Consider reviewing the event viewer. It can occasionally be useful.

The uninstallation didn’t resolve the issue. The Event Viewer shows no entries near the crash time. You might want to check if there’s a way to record temperatures or system metrics.
