I've restarted the game after a few months and made some updates. I'm using three screens—two 1080p monitors and one 4K display. Switching the game to any other screen causes crashes with an "Unrecoverable Direct X error." I've tried clearing the game cache, launching in safe mode, changing to another 1080p monitor, and disabling all overclocks, but nothing resolved the issue. Please let me know if you need anything else!

Have you attempted to remove and reinstall? I experienced the same problem a few weeks ago and tried all options. Eventually, after getting frustrated, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it resolved immediately. If you have the data, give it a try.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. And no worries about the data—I'll take my time with the current plan. Thanks!

It actually makes sense, I've seen many bugs before. Most of the small problems have been resolved, though some remain hidden behind the code. Thanks for trying a new Windows 10 install too.

I understand the challenges of a slow or restricted internet connection. It seems it might still function.

@Maury Sells Wigs appears to have deeper insight into this matter than I do. I’d suggest giving his approach a try first. My experience was more of a passing thought, though it’s now clearer. When I mentioned it, the post showed no replies and had been open for a while. It was simply the best I found. @Maury Sells Wigs seems to have more.

I fought for a week, trying all possible solutions, and finally it worked with a reinstall. I don't know why. It might have been a corruption issue. Either way, the original user hasn't returned, so it could have been successful.
