After approximately 45 minutes of gaming, my monitor displays a black screen with audio. I am unable to access Task Manager or perform any actions, however the game continues to play audibly. I have recently updated my graphics card drivers and do not use any overclocking settings, with temperatures consistently remaining below 65°C as monitored by CAM for both my CPU and GPU. This is my inaugural custom-built PC, a project I carefully researched and assembled, and I am disappointed that it’s experiencing this issue during its initial use. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

For Context:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
Motherboard: X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (8 cores, ~3.7GHz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 550 G3 80 Plus Gold 550W

I realized I had overlooked a detail. EVGA Supernova 550 G3, featuring an 80 Plus Gold rating and a power output of 550W.

Are your computer drivers current (for the motherboard and graphics card)?
Is your power supply unit connected to the processor connection on the motherboard (not the 24-pin, but the 8-pin)?
Is your power supply unit connected to the graphics card?
What are the CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay?

Employ Ryzen Master to observe your processor's temperatures.
Alternatively, you can utilize HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner for GPU monitoring.

Temperatures are within acceptable limits, and are all drivers current?
Is this linked to the power supply unit?
