The ideal platform for sharing this idea would be a specialized forum focused on that topic.

Everyone avoids earning money for strangers and most solo developers lack the funds to launch a large online game. Switch to becoming a game designer, secure a position at a prominent studio creating games in that style, and once you prove your talent, pitch your concept to your supervisor.

We have a clearer vision of the project and what we hope to achieve. Sharing this more detail will help the mods understand our goals better and guide their decisions effectively.

We're discussing large sums here. That's a discussion for seeking assistance with your game, not for sharing suggestions carelessly. Check out the article.

If you're seeking advice on this topic, it's not a common discussion. Creating MMORPGs is one of the toughest game development challenges unless you're among the very few with strong motivation, drive, and skills—ideally with a solid financial backing. Still, if you're willing to learn, Unity can be a decent starting point. Once you gain the necessary expertise, you'll have the foundation to explore more deeply. There are many innovative concepts for enjoyable MMORPGs, but most fall short due to execution issues. Unless you commit time to mastering it yourself, consider saving yourself the frustration. Even sharing your thoughts on a forum won't matter much if you only have an idea without substance.

You might enjoy testing the game dev Discord, though results could be uncertain. You can also explore some open source mmo projects via Google. Alternatively, a Dungeons and Dragons campaign online could appeal to players who prefer that format.

And even though the MMORPG community appears stable, many are moving away, a few try to retain fans, while most aren’t attracting newcomers. There seems to be very little fresh interest from players starting out in this genre.

It appears you're exploring a bold concept. Since it might be valuable, consider sharing it only with those who can support it. If you're confident in its potential, you might want to keep it private until you have a solid plan to present it effectively.
