Hi, I've been facing this problem with Call of Duty. My PC should handle more than 50-60 FPS, but it keeps getting stuck at that number. I searched for a month without finding a solution. I changed the display settings to v-sync off, set the refresh to 240 in-game, and checked the MB BIOS update. Removed the GPU drivers, reinstalled them, uninstalled the game, and reset the monitor settings to 240. The PCIe setting is also at 240. I’m confused why the game can’t exceed 50-60 FPS. Please help with my specs: MSI Z390-A PRO CPU; Intel i9 9900k (overclocked to 5.0GHz); RTX 2060 XC6BG; NVMe SSD evoplus 970; 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL17 Dual Channel; 850W monitor at 240Hz 5120x1440.

The resolution you're using is close to 4K, but your 1080p card isn't powerful enough for it. You're missing sufficient GPU power and VRAM. Consider upgrading your GPU.

This might be a problem. To check your GPU usage, press ALT + R in the game—an Nvidia window will pop up in the corner showing utilization stats. You can also lower the resolution to something more manageable for the 2060; I’m okay with 60fps at 2560 x 1440. Good luck!
