I recall playing Minecraft at around 40 frames per second—it was quite slow. My sister is starting to enjoy it too. She’s using her Mac, which is likely from around 2007 with a monitor. It’s definitely not fast enough. I won’t spend money on her gaming setup since I rely heavily on my PC. Are there any boosters or tools that work for Minecraft on a Mac?

Game boosters are useless; they offer no real benefit. For an outdated setup, upgrading to Windows would be better, as the current graphics options are poor.

You might want to consider the Optifine mod. It reduces the graphics quality...

Do you have any videos from Linus on this topic? Or are there other trusted sources you recommend? I’m keen to move to Windows and will definitely check those out. Thanks!

He doesn’t seem to have a video, though several tests show a modest improvement of 1-2% with each adjustment. The system already allocates full power to the game, so there’s no simple tweak possible.

Check videos demonstrating Bootcamp installation. No issues.
