You're experiencing stuttering in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare on Ultra settings. After a while, the game becomes very choppy, which you describe as "Frame Lag." Restarting the mission temporarily fixes it but the issue returns after some time. The system specs are: GPU - RTX 2070, CPU - Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM, G-Sync enabled.

Verify temperatures and assess the current load percentage.

RAM placement varies across different boards, with some using specific slot orders like 1-2-3-4 while others follow 1-3-2-4. Always verify your manual to ensure proper installation. Your BIOS boot time of 8 to 14 seconds is within normal range; it might indicate a BIOS update is needed if memory detection remains inconsistent during startup. Also, check if background tasks are running, especially whether Windows updates are paused.

No background processes are running. However, there might be an issue due to the recent BIOS update on your motherboard, which is still in beta.

Varies by board, but I've seen great performance builds on some platforms. You can check CPU/GPU stats with tools like HWInfo or monitoring software you might already have running.

I've faced similar issues before, but the stuttering appears after about an hour and a half of playtime. It doesn't occur in other games, though it happened recently during a long session of Modern Warfare 2 remaster campaign (two hours straight). Since I don’t play that much, it might be either my laptop throttling or a problem with the game engine. Does this issue happen with any other game, or is it unique to this one?
