Since my Radeon RX 460 died and I switched to a GEFORCE GTX 1050ti, a handful of games began freezing after about five minutes of play. The issue was unusual—screens appeared normal but then froze abruptly, locking on a single frame without any visible cause. Despite the game continuing to run (audio still audible), I could hear my character moving through the levels. This happened even in menus. I've tried all possible fixes: resetting the computer, uninstalling and reinstalling games and Steam, checking files, restarting the PC, running diagnostics, physically dismantling the system, updating or installing drivers. Still, I can't recall which steps worked. Recently played games with this problem include CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive), Rocket League, and Liftoff (an FPV drone flight simulator). Liftoff stood out as unexpectedly stable compared to other graphics-heavy titles. Two games I haven’t crashed yet are the Drone Racing League Simulator and CS:S (Counter-Strike: Source). I’m really frustrated because I can’t find a solution, and this is my last resort. If anyone has any advice, it would be a huge relief!

Have you verified that you're utilizing your built-in graphics to run the game, which could be causing the freezing?
