Hey there! I've been enjoying Warzone for a while now, but I've noticed some FPS issues lately. Initially, the game runs smoothly at around 144FPS, though after a while it drops unpredictably to 40-80FPS. Whenever this happens, my GPU temperature falls by about 10°C, dropping from roughly 65°C to around 53°C. Restarting the game seems to resolve the problem for a short period. I've tried reinstalling the game, updating drivers, and even used DLSS, but my setup is pretty standard: 16GB RAM, 3200MHz RAM, an i7-10700K processor, an RTX 3070, MSI RTX 3070 Xeon, Corsair i150 AIO, and a PSU of 750W. Any suggestions?

I’d first consider if your CPU is experiencing thermal throttling. Look at its temperature readings and confirm they match the drop in performance. If that’s happening, it might cause the game to become CPU-bound, which could restrict your GPU usage and lead to cooler temperatures as observed.

Thermal throttling happens when components become excessively warm and reduce performance to avoid overheating. This means they aren't operating efficiently. Tools exist to monitor thermal levels as well.

It seems like the game behaves in a predictable, default way to me. I stopped playing because each update brought performance issues or crashes. As long as other games work fine, I don’t have to worry much. Perhaps updating your graphics driver again could help.
