Game about naval battles in a global conflict.
Game about naval battles in a global conflict.
Looking around, anyone online? I’m checking the virtual lounge—Wargaming seems to have put together a top-notch release (if CBT qualifies), everything works well and feels almost perfect, just a few minor hiccups (likely optimization stuff). Right now I’m on the Asia/Pacific servers as Mushious. If you’re up, let me know and we can play. I’ll be either in Cleaveland or St Louis—probably the latter is a bit rough. P.S.: Updated to US under the same name.
The game involves players competing to collect items and defeat opponents through strategic moves and timing.
I’ll join the game if my favorite Kantai Collection ships are included. @KingCry, @DigitalHermit, and @Skybane
The Kongou class ships appear in the game. The modders have started discussing them on the forums.
The beta is currently closed. You can obtain a code by entering their weekly Minesweeper competition on their main site or purchase a premium ship following the standard Wargaming approach for titles like World of Tanks and World of Warplanes. Gameplay typically lasts around 30 minutes and features multiple ship types. Present modes include CTF (or capture the point) and Conquest. Your fleet includes destroyers—speedy ships with topmounted guns that are thrilling to operate but pose significant threats, especially when equipped with well-placed torpedoes. Next are cruisers, medium-class vessels blending battleship and destroyer traits; they offer good speed, maneuverability, and heavy armament, making them effective escorts or attack platforms. Then you have battleships—the largest class, built for destruction. They are slow but formidable, designed to take out enemy ships with powerful guns and often serve as both attackers and protectors. Finally, aircraft carriers act like mobile artillery, launching torpedo bombers from a distance; they require strong defensive measures or skilled pilots to avoid being destroyed. Overall, the game emphasizes strategy and precision, with clear controls and satisfying mechanics.
It seems like you're considering it for tomorrow. Are you sure you're managing just one device? If that's the case, I'm likely interested.
I notice Kitakani but not Ooi. Japan has more destroyers than the list, including Shimakaze, Yamato, and the well-known Fubuki—only one Kongou-class ship is visible.
I'm an avid wargaming enthusiast, yet I've never ventured into hardcore play in WOP. This game seems like a perfect fit for me.
