My initial download attempt stopped after 4.5GB due to metadata issues. I restarted everything, and it should complete overnight. We'll check tomorrow—hopefully it works. If not, I might have to wait next month or pay extra fees. Ugh, those monthly caps are really annoying!
It seems you're limited in your choices right now. I just joined electronicbox with a 1000gig plan costing $55, including free dry loop. I chose the 25/5 tier because it was available. You usually don’t exceed 200gb, but they also offer cheaper 350gig plans starting at 150. At home, I have a 'Bell' package with the same speeds and no limits for an additional $10.
For those facing issues with the patch, it seems someone made a mistake. If you encounter an error, they advised reinstalling and then proceeding with the download again. This happened to me twice since I didn’t uninstall properly, but it succeeded on the third attempt.
There was a mistake somewhere, they had to make changes. If you have patch issues, they suggest you just reinstall it.
