yes i prefer a smaller one since i'm not fully comfortable with the t70. you can mention i've gotten used to it, but the main point is i need a smaller mouse for my medium-sized hand to get full control.
Logitech, Roccat and Corsair are options to consider for brands. A few less obvious choices include SteelSeries and NZXT, while I wouldn't recommend Razer.
