Hello, I currently own a Dell XPS 8100 with an i5 760 @2.8ghz and a Radeon HD 6670 Diamond 2gb. I intend to purchase a Gtx 1060 with 3gb of RAM. Although I’m learning, the i5 760 might struggle with modern games even when paired with the Gtx 1060, mainly due to bottlenecks. To address this, I plan to upgrade to a Hyper212 Evo and overclock it to 3.7-4.0. I’m wondering if this will actually help or not. Additionally, will overclocking to that range keep my i5 760 capable during my 1080p Gtx 1060 gaming sessions? (I want to play all triple A titles like Battlefield 1.)

Sincerely,

For the OEM PC such as the Dell XPS 8100, you can't use it because the features are restricted. You should consider a new PC for your gtx1060, otherwise you might face a CPU bottleneck.
