G2A presents risks and concerns.
The code from GTA might trigger a fraud alert because it doesn’t match the usual transaction patterns. You obtain access through Steam permissions rather than purchasing keys, which means no key-related history exists to point to. The $1.62 charge appears unclear on your statement—don’t worry if you’re unsure about foreign currency fees; some cards add a fixed amount on top of regular charges.
Hello, A locked Steam account isn't because of the purchased key. Steam doesn't restrict accounts for such keys. If it concerns a revoked game (like the one at http://prntscr.com/a9qxve), it indicates the key was bought illegitimately—not that your card was stolen. We don’t store customer credit details under our Privacy Statement. Regardless of G2A Shield, you remain fully protected by our refund policies. To ensure your case is resolved, reach out to helpdesk(at)g2a.com for a detailed discussion. For more info, check G2A’s FAQ or use Live Chat at helpdesk(at)g2a.com. Our team is available 24/7. See you soon, G2A Team!
I've been purchasing from G2A for years without any problems, like you described. I even got Xbox Live Gold for my son there at half the price here. G2A ranks among my top three game platforms besides STEAM, especially since I can see prices in AUD rather than just USD like on STEAM.
I believe you're enrolled in G2A Shield, which charges monthly. (You clearly signed up for the free version for one month, but now you're still billed each month—worthless unless you purchase at least two games monthly.) I've faced the same problem before.
