I informed you that the EA is problematic. Please attempt to update your passwords and reach out to G2A.
They obtained your email through the platform's system. The phrase refers to using a code from a game redemption to gain access to your account.
Occasionally customer service can provide access to an account when you forget your password by giving them a retail CD key you used to activate a game, demonstrating ownership.
since my G2A PayPal account and origin account use the same email address, during my purchase it displayed the PayPal account that sent the funds first, then indicated where to send the game redemption code. as mentioned before, if you claim you lost your password but have a redemption code used, you may still gain access.
In short, the hacker mentioned being from the USA but currently in Algeria for business. When they noticed changes to my country, name, ID, email, and password, it was obvious what was happening.
Hello cd5josh, remember that the seller never accesses your personal details. They only view the code sold in their auction and its status. At the end, the seller can only rate the transaction. If your EA account is hacked, it doesn’t link to your purchase in G2A, even if you used PayPal. We don’t keep your personal data, so an attack on your account can’t be carried out through our site. In such a situation, please reach out to EA Support to resolve the issue. For more questions, check G2A’s FAQ or contact them via live chat or ticket. Our team is available 24/7. See you again at G2A! James G2A Team
I challenge your Story Nonsense. It’s impossible for any Seller to "hack" your account since you purchased a Key from them. They have no knowledge of your personal details. Perhaps remove some hidden backdoors and keylockers from your system, and avoid clicking on suspicious links in unfamiliar emails.
