I’ll keep it simple. The experience with G2A support was really frustrating. PayPal’s support, on the other hand, is top-notch. I bought a product key for Win 8.1 Pro in September 2014 through G2A. It functioned well for a few weeks until I attempted a fresh install on a new SSD I purchased. The key became invalid right away. I reached out to Microsoft support to verify the key’s legitimacy, but they confirmed it wasn’t valid. I reported the problem and requested a refund from G2A. After providing proof, they eventually approved the refund. But did I actually receive it? ...No. Even today, I haven’t gotten a refund. I messaged them again—their complaint team was terrible. They’re difficult to reach by phone, only available via chat or email. Their English was poor and full of mistakes. They seemed indifferent to my satisfaction. Their reply always said something like “It’s a delay on PayPal’s side, so it should be processed soon.” That didn’t help. I’m fed up after months. I switched to PayPal directly. They’re much more helpful—quickly issued a refund within minutes. The representative I spoke with was knowledgeable and reassuring. It’s clear they handle complaints well and understand the issues. Remember, PayPal has a 180-day dispute window, but this payment was over 180 days old. They still assisted me. They mentioned past issues with G2A and even contacted them before, yet didn’t respond promptly. In short: G2A support is unreliable, while PayPal’s service is reliable and respectful. Thanks for helping me avoid a bad experience.
It seems G2A isn't secure anymore, right? I was planning to get GTA V from them in two months.
Usually, when G2A offers a big deal compared to places like GreenManGaming or Steam, it’s likely there’s something suspicious. I definitely wouldn’t support buying from G2A.
