1) No requirement if the seller boasts a perfect score with more than 1000 transactions.
2) It's genuine as they primarily offer keys from their own country at affordable prices.
3) Be cautious of negative feedback on G2A; they often face issues after purchasing from low-rated sellers.

This risk versus reward choice is significant. As someone living in Australia, the estimate will exceed $40.86 USD (including G2A protection).

When you buy any product, you need to check who the seller is. If it's G2A there's less of a need for G2A shield (not like it costs much though right?). You'll get a code. If you buy from a seller, it'd be worth getting shield since you'll be provided with a gift link from someone else on steam.

Someone in the market boasts a perfect score with 83,194 sales. Impressive!

Thank you for all the suggestions you gave me, choosing to purchase from G2A was a good decision. However, I’m encountering a PayPal issue, preventing the transaction from completing at this moment.

I bought it on another device, I remember having a bit of doubt when I entered the key into Steam—it showed an "invalid key." Since it's a Uplay key, everything seems fine, except... I need to use Uplay.

You could store the keys from G2A on a different Steam account to avoid losing your primary one. Each G2A game usually has its own Steam profile.

Fortunately it's Uplay and not Steam, though I'll remember that. Would a shutdown of a Steam account really affect someone who bought a game from G2a? Their library could contain thousands of dollars worth of games, and losing all that would be devastating.

It seems you're discussing an experience with a game store or platform. There were some issues, but refunds were available. You had mixed luck—some purchases worked and others didn't. It's wise to consider buying from trusted retailers for better reliability.
