I'm just starting out with Formula 1 games and sim racing overall. I bought a new G29 because of positive reviews and didn't want to use a controller. I'm not sure if this is the right approach, but I think a wheel shouldn't handle steering when stationary. I noticed this when driving through turns like 15/16 on Monaco Circuit and 16/17 on Silverstone Circuit—my wheel seemed to want a different role, almost like it was taking over as passenger. I've confirmed that any steering assistance is disabled and the firmware is up-to-date. VID_20250918_023256.mp4 This might explain what's happening.

It seems there might be an issue with the setup. The behavior appears to be attempting initial calibration before stalling, though the final motion is unusual. I’d begin by verifying the cables and making sure the connectors are properly aligned.
