I'm just starting out with Formula 1 games and sim racing overall. I bought a new G29 because of positive reviews and didn't want to use a controller. I'm not sure if this is the right approach, but I think a wheel shouldn't handle steering when stationary. I noticed this when driving through turns like 15/16 on Monaco Circuit and 16/17 on Silverstone Circuit—my wheel seemed to want a different role, almost like it was taking over as passenger.
