G1 Guerilla declines sharing content with a size exceeding 1.3TB per drive
Hello. Good day. I have a G1 Guerilla board with a big BIOS bug. It was updated to support drives larger than 3TB, but it only works with one 3TB+ drive. If I try to boot with more than one 4TB drive (like two 4TB in my setup), the system freezes on "verifying DMI pool data." I also disabled the SATA 3 controller in the BIOS, thinking that might be the issue. The 3TB update doesn’t allow SATA 3 controllers to accept 4TB drives, which isn’t necessary. My goal is to have two 4TB and one 2TB drive. I’m not sure why this behavior happens.
The instructions suggest using more than 3TB per drive or consolidating multiple drives into a single larger drive. It seems the latter is intended, though the tool may not resolve the issue. The system's hardware and software from 2011 likely have limitations, so updating other components would be advisable.
