I possess the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 RAM. I'm searching for a G skill product that's quicker, specifically a set of four units. No prior experience with RAM specs or speeds—please guide me to the best options. Thanks!

Did you want to add more RAM to the system or delete the existing RAM and start fresh with a new configuration? Were you aiming for a 4x8GB setup? Also, the 3600Mhz CL16 is currently one of the top memory classes available.

Would adding more items speed things up? Also, thank you for the details about the quicker class.

Check if it supports LGA 1200/1151 or AM4. With only two memory channels, 16 gigabytes should be sufficient for gaming.

I work with 3D rendering and CAD design. I own a MOBO featuring an LGA1151 connector.

That's irrelevant—they all have two channels either way. If you want more memory, you'll need the additional RAM. Choosing a faster kit means it will match the slowest device, but it won't boost speed beyond that. It only adds storage space.

We understand the implications of IMC and whether purchasing 4000MHz RAM kits would have been a poor decision.

It seems like you're expressing a thought that's almost universally accepted.
