Hello community,
I'm trying to overclock today and have a few questions.
My CPU is currently at 4.5 with Prime95, and after around 25 minutes, worker 5 stopped.
I’m wondering if there’s a limit in Prime95 where workers will inevitably stop, or if I need to reach a certain stable point before they stop completely. (For example, when it feels fully stable.)
My current settings are: frequency at 225, multiplier at 20, voltage at 1.4500.
I plan to increase the voltage and see if it stabilizes, but I’m still curious about the workers’ behavior.
Also, my CPU temperature has been around 54°C, so I don’t think there are any cooling problems.
Why not use a higher multiplier? It reduces load on other parts.
Prime95 didn't perform well on the AMD platform.
