Hi, I'm just starting out with overclocking. I attempted to boost my FX 8320 to 4.3GHz using prime95 for 20 minutes without any crashes. When I played CS:GO afterward, the frame rate was between 50 and 130 FPS. Before the overclock, my performance was over 250 FPS. Am I making a mistake?
Be careful when overclocking with an unreliable PSU, and ensure you have a solid cooling system in place.
