FX 8100 and Sempron II X6 1055T
Plan a budget PC under $300 for streaming. Decide between FX 8100 and Sempron II X6 1055T. FX 8100 offers more fake cores (8) but only 4 real ones, good for games; Sempron has 6 real cores but slightly lower performance in games.
Purchase a refurbished business system for less than $300 and discover a much better option.
The phenomenon can't even run many games after 2015 because it doesn't have the required instructions and is quite weak. The FX 8100 is a poor CPU. Both struggle against a 200-core processor. So avoid both options. What are you planning to do? Light streaming? 300 is already tough for a full system, let alone a gaming rig.
I'm not aware of any Am4 CPUs priced below $50 USD. Those typically refer to older generations or budget models.
Am4 is completely wasted these days. There isn’t even one CPU that works well there. A real i7-2600 beats any other and costs less. I don’t know your background, but it’s just an i7-2600 – it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for value. Just make sure the rest of it isn’t just junk.
They’re all captured in that image. A 200ge is a $50 new CPU, but don’t settle for an A320 board. An MSI B450 Pro VDH costs $80 and offers a solid platform for future upgrades at a reasonable price. Why go prebuilt? Those budget-friendly Dell models are great value for the cost and usually you can’t build something better without spending more.
