Hello!
I just need a quick confirmation.
I’m planning to upgrade my PC and would like to purchase a used Zotac GTX 780 3GB amp edition. I also want to overclock the FX-6300 to no more than 4.1-4.2Ghz on a GA 78LMT USB3 motherboard.
For power, I’m thinking of buying an XFX TS 650W 80+gold PSU.
Will that be sufficient?

You won't progress well with a weak power stage and average heat management.

The board isn't designed to support CPU overclocking.

Could you please be more specific why because, motherboard says it has 4+1 Phase CPU Power phase, and it has, from my point of view, a decent heatsink.
It should allow some overclocking without touching the voltages.

Thanks for your response. It seems I'll likely keep the turbo on the CPU.
