Adjust your CPU multiplier, voltage, FSB, HT, CPU/NB and RAM multiplier to AUTO. Keep the settings and restart; this will reset everything to defaults.
For RAM faster than DDR3 1600, choose the appropriate Profile or set the RAM voltage and multiplier again after the first restart.
If using the stock cooler for the FX 6300, swap it out. Any budget aftermarket cooler works well. I suggest the Hyper 212 EVO.

Your motherboard bios should automatically adjust the CPU core voltage to 1.35000v @ 3500Mhz. This is the standard setting for an FX-based CPU. When cool and quiet mode is activated in the BIOS, the core speed will be reduced accordingly, along with the P wait state configurations. At lower speeds such as 800Mhz, the voltage drops to around 1.2v. If AMD auto boost overclocking is turned off, and both AMD Cool and Quiet plus the BIOS P wait states are active, the FX 6300 will consistently maintain a voltage of 1.35000 at its default 3.5Ghz clock speed.
