When configuring my BIOS, I don’t want to overclock the CPU and just need a basic setup. I’m curious about the "Cpu over voltage," "CPU/NB frequency" settings—I understand I don’t need to adjust the CPU ratio since that’s for overclocking. For better temperatures, I’m thinking about disabling AMD Turbo Core or leaving it on as it is. I just want to avoid automatic settings and have full control.

Sorry, I misunderstood your initial message and assumed it was about overclocking. I wanted to ask about the motherboard and power supply model. Why do you think keeping everything in auto mode is incorrect? Most BIOS settings are better left as automatic. The frequency should stay unchanged unless you specifically want overclocking. Turbo cores can raise the CPU speed slightly above 3.5 GHz during heavy use. Turning it off might reduce temperatures, but unless you're experiencing overheating issues, it's probably fine to leave it on. I'm not sure about the correct voltage settings for your CPU.

Which specific motherboard and power supply unit models do you own? Provide the exact names, not just brands or wattages.

MB is an asus m5a78l-m plus with usb3 and a generic psu that's the standard xtech 800 watts. I've used it for a year without any issues. It doesn't have protections, and it isn't certified.
