Hey, I built a computer with an FX-6300 and a Hyper 212 EVO cooler. I'm using a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard. I attempted the overclocking presets for stability since I'm not familiar with technical overclocking. I tried 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 overclock settings but none worked. Can someone help me achieve at least 4.2 GHz without any issues?

The DS3P lacks strong power and thermal capabilities, making it unsuitable for overclocking applications.

You might want to consider this alternative: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5V-h5oab1E. As SR-71 mentioned, that setup isn't the best choice for maximizing CPU performance. Although I usually avoid YouTube videos, this one could still be useful. Just proceed with caution.
