Alright, I started my BIOS setup with an OC of 4.2 GHz at 1.385V. The system boots into Windows, but the voltage remains unchanged while the clock speed is stuck at 1399 MHz. It doesn’t seem to adjust. MB Ta970 Plus Biostar

When I OC'd, I disabled all power-saving options and turbo settings. I set the BIOS to manual mode while retaining the standard defaults, except for the specific features required for the OC process, which aids in stabilizing the system.

I used the provided link carefully and followed the instructions exactly, successfully overclocking with a multiplier.

As discussed by CountMike, have you disabled power-saving features in both Windows and the BIOS? (such as switching from a balanced or low-power plan to high performance in Windows, and enabling options like Cool 'N Quiet in the BIOS)

I can't directly post images or screenshots, but I can help you prepare the content for sharing. You can provide the CPU-Z screenshot and the BIOS settings image separately, and I’ll assist with formatting or organizing them as needed.

Ensure the additional items are turned off along with the others.
