I chose to pursue the rabbit down the hole while attempting to speed up my processor. Here are the parts I have:
FX-6300
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5
Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler
16GB PNY XLR8 1866MHz DDR3
Corsair CX750M

I used AMD Overdrive to push my processor, thinking it was a secure option given my limited knowledge of BIOS tuning.
Currently at 21.5 multiplier with a 1.325 V CPU VID, Turbo Core turned off. I ran Overdrive’s built-in stress test for ten minutes and saw no issues. While not as stable as P95, I plan to try P95 for the next hour and share the outcomes.
The maximum temperature reported by Core Temp was 43°C, which is comfortably under the thermal safety limit.

Anyone familiar with this build can offer advice on whether AMD Overdrive works well or if adjustments in BIOS are necessary?
Feel free to reach out.

It was quick. Began P95, a core failed, and my PC froze. I had to reset, and all the settings were lost in Overdrive. Anyone want to assist a brother?

4.2 and 4.0 at 1.325V showed instability, causing P95 to freeze. Assistance needed?

I plan to test SmartClock in Overdrive mode, check the results, and then try P95 using it.

AutoClock reported 4.4GHz with 1.375 CPU VID and 1.275 NBA VID. After starting P95, it overheated within about five minutes. It restarted but dropped back to 4.2 at the same voltages and then iced up more quickly. I'm looking for assistance.

I surrender. Stability in P95 isn't achievable.
