FX-6300 not working on startup
Failed to boot PC failed, cannot access BIOS. There seems to be an issue updating my old computer for my sister. The voltage is set to Auto, and the multiplier is at 21.5 or 4.3. I swapped the stock cooler for an AMD Wraith cooler. I’m not sure which motherboard it uses, but it’s a Gigabyte model.
Have you attempted to restart the BIOS by removing the battery or swapping in the reset jumper?
It seems the guide isn't available, possibly an older version or a large file. It might be around a gigabyte with HTTP/3.0 support and built to last.
Start with the default voltage settings only. That’s usually the safest approach. If your motherboard doesn’t allow manual voltage adjustment, don’t expect to overclock it. Assume you won’t be able to do so. Next, only proceed if you’re fully informed about the specific CPU you’re using—it’s a fairly straightforward process after identifying that. After that, spend time researching online, watching tutorials, and reading forums. Once confident, experiment cautiously in BIOS settings. Overclocking can be rewarding, but it requires precision and care. Don’t forget to reset the CMOS if needed to restore normal operation.
I'll search for instructions on resetting CMOS on your device.
