I have good airflow and a 212 EVO Hyper Coolermaster. How precise is an open hardware monitor? I’m overclocked to 4.2 and adjusting as I type. My goal is to reach 4.5 to 4.8 with idle temps for cores above 38°C and average in the mid-20s, which seems quite low. I’m trying to find a stable balance between multiplier and voltage. Besides the two settings I mentioned, should I tweak anything else that won’t cause a reboot? I’m using AMD overdrive; it doesn’t interfere with BIOS settings. I turned off CIE, CNQ, and Turbo Core, but launching AMD Overdrive puts me back into turbo mode, so I need to disable it. Is there a way to prevent it from reverting through AMD Overdrive? My current CPU VDD voltage on overdrive is 1.4, 1.23 on NB-VID, and 21x multiplier. I’m planning to wait before making more changes until I get some advice. Should I avoid using overdrive altogether and stick strictly to BIOS, or should I use BIOS only? Also, are there any Windows 10 settings I should be concerned about? Thank you.

The board suffers from a significantly weak power phase and thermal design, making it unsuitable for overclocking.

Thanks for the feedback. Others mentioned it was a solid overclocking experience. I only spent $450 and am happy with it—I can handle any AAA game at 60 FPS.

And in the future don't bother replying to a post, just stating that it's a poor mother board..at least give some kind of usable information I can use..i'm surprised that you are a senior moderator...Jerk
