People expect PC gaming to grow significantly over the next four years, especially with improvements in GPUs and CPUs. They anticipate both hardware and software advancements will boost performance and accessibility.
Only later will we know, Moore's Law is decelerating. I truly wish more cores gain traction, particularly with affordable 6 and 8-core consumer processors.
Budget models support 4 cores, premium options offer 6 cores, and the i7 series requires at least 8 cores. Most gamers can hit 4K at 60fps with mid to high-end hardware, while 1440p at 60fps is feasible on an iGPU with lower or medium settings.
