Coffee plus a few small peppers since they don’t make your hands feel like they’re covered in sweet powder that ends up everywhere on your keyboard or mouse.

Avoid unhealthy options to stay safe. Opt for low-sodium and butter-free popcorn, along with cucumbers and some fresh juice.

I spent the evening with friends, felt completely drained the next day, even more exhausted than any hangover I've experienced before.

Usually I enjoy a bit of juice and maybe some peanuts or crisps when I’m having a long evening. For a treat, I like lots of sweets, a few cans of Monster, and sometimes a 2-liter bottle of Irn Bru. If I really want to, I can stay up all night on that. On special days like my birthday, I treat myself to two or three big packs of cheesy Doritos and a couple of Mountain Dew bottles. Food definitely makes a big difference in how fun gaming feels sometimes!

I understand when I indulge, it can feel pretty rough in the morning... It's not as bad as a hangover, but it's not that far from it...

I've never experienced discomfort the following day, even after consuming three cans of Monster and a lot of junk food.

It's clear you're suggesting a healthier alternative since you're likely focused on the game. Taste might matter less in that context, though you could still enjoy making it appealing.

Water feels too cold and I don’t want to disturb my workspace.

It doesn’t necessarily mean your body accepts it. (Take it seriously, dude—those energy drinks pack a lot of caffeine and can be hard to quit.)

I usually don’t play this much, just sometimes or when a new game releases, like Rise of the Tomb Raider FX.
