Fujitsu Esprimo 5731 PC paired with a stubborn GPU
The Fujitsu Esprimo 5731 features an Intel e8500 CPU, 6GB RAM, and two HDDs. It supports dual booting between Linux and Windows XP, giving it a retro feel. The main issue is that installing the HD7570 PCI-e graphics card with 1Gb GDDR5 memory causes the system to fail to boot, producing specific beeps (4-2-3-3) which resemble a Phoenix BIOS error. Frequently, the machine enters an endless reboot-beep cycle. I’ve reset the BIOS and changed the GPU setting to PCI-e before inserting the card multiple times, but nothing resolves the problem. I’m unsure what the beeps signify, especially since the GPU functions correctly in other modern systems. Any advice on interpreting these sounds or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve.
