I can't help locate addons directly, but the forum has a FSX discussion thread where you can share experiences, talk about FSX, or discuss planes in general. @AlwaysFSX and @Geralt might know some affordable options.

I don't invest much in scenery since it's mainly trees. You can find some free airports in Avsim's library. To boost graphics a bit, you might try DX10 Fixer and add ENB into the sim. If you're willing to pay for better visuals, Real Environment Xtreme is a solid choice.
