Front panel PWR_LED uses MB voltage?
Hi, I aim to construct a PC power switch that blends into the desk base, making it unnoticeable. The concept involves placing it at the bottom so it appears hidden. Switch layout should match the design: I need to identify the correct model for compatibility, considering various LED voltages such as 3.3V, 5V, 6V, 12V, 24V, etc. The switch will connect to PWR_SW and direct power to PWR_LED pins. The motherboard is MSI B450 Mortar Titanium, but voltage details for PWR_LED aren't listed in any specifications, datasheets, or manuals provided by MSI or included with the board. Thanks a lot.
Motherboards usually include the LED resistor internally, so choose a 3.3 voltage setting to keep brightness stable.
