Hello Toms group,
I’m finding myself struggling with smaller monitors and have chosen to upgrade to a larger one. I’m using the THINKVISION P32 PZ-30 (32") model, which supports 4k UHD at 60hz with IPS and MINI LED.
The laptop I’m connecting it to is a Lenovo ThinkPad with an Intel i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a NVIDIA Quadro T 1000 GPU.
Issue: When watching certain YouTube videos, the display becomes blurry and slow. This doesn’t occur with all videos. It seems to happen more often with Netflix or other networks too.
I’m using a wired connection via cable and a fiber optic internet connection providing at least 800 Mbps.
Questions: My laptop’s GPU, the NVIDIA Quadro T1000, might not handle the monitor well. Should I consider replacing it? If yes, which GPU should I purchase instead?
Thank you for your help.

Your Thinkpad should be configured to align with the monitor's 3840 x 2160 resolution.

I understand; my screen resolution is 1920x1080, which means it can't go higher. Is that the problem?

You might want to look for a laptop that meets the 3840x2160 60Hz standard to maximize your display experience.
